Figure 1 and 2 show a structure
of this system and its outlook, respectively.
This system consists of the following items.
- Camera
Two cameras are located both side of working area to avoid occluding object by
worker`s arm.
- PC
This PC roles an important part of this system. It stores an AR manual (see
chapter 2) and calculates the target position taken from a camera
image to generate display information of virtual image. These are processed
in real time.
- Display
Graphical instructions are displayed.
- Half mirror
The graphical instructions generated by the display and the real image of the board
are merged optically by this half mirror.
The electronic circuits to be inspected are planar print circuit boards.
Therefore, if it corresponds the light path length to the display with the light path
length to the real circuit boards, the worker can watch them at same plane.
