A carrying not wearble at present system includes a complete stand-alone AR hardware[1] shown in Fig. 2. In the system, computer-generated display changes itself depending on the operator's head motion. In other words, the carrying system needs to be able to manage the operator's position and orientation and to generate virtual environments according to them. At present, a tradeoff situation exists between weight and size of graphics hardware which can be loaded on a carrying system, and the quality of generated virtual environments. Fortunately, the system using the see-through HMD needs to generate not the entire world but objects to be interested. The see-through HMD we adapt is Shimazu STV-01 which is specially modified in DC operation. When opening a visor, the operator can see superimposed stereo color dynamic images onto half-dark transparent glasses.
