Realtime 3D Heart imaging
with Echocardiogram, a 6D digitizer and ECG trigger

This page presents a 3D ultrasound imaging system to observe the heart action. This system consists of a echographer, a 6D digitizer and a computer. The B-mode echo images are projected on the virtual 3D space by referring to the ultrasound probe position and pose obtained by the digitizer in real-time. The heartbeat timing is obtained from the ECG trigger and the 3D image is displayed according to the timing.
