Virtual Images Occluding Real Images

We control the lighting to the real images in the MR environment in order to realize occluding the real images. The MR environment is made dark, and only the parts of the real images which ought to be seen are lightened using an active light,as in Fig6. We use a projector as the active light. The active light has the active 2-D pattern. We apply the idea of 3.4 again in order to make the active 2-D patterns. In the patterns, the background and the polygons of the virtual images are black. And the polygons of the real images are white. As before OpenGL supports hidden-surface removal. So we can get an ideal active light which lighten only the part expected to be seen.
