We proposes a new approach of image recognition of user's perplex situation from dynamic infrared images. According to a psychological study, most of computer users tendto raise their hands to head in perplex situation. This system recognizes raisingaction of user's hands by a infrared camera dynamically. An infrared image easilyshows human skins by easy thresholding. Then, by detecting width change of face portion, it determines user's hand actions.
